Naim Daniel's new mini-album is inspired by his own heartbreak
24 Jan - Naim Daniel recently revealed that his new mini album, "Lelaki Gila" is partly inspired by his own breakup after four years of relationship.
The singer, who spoke about his new music recently, said that the mini album, which has four new songs and a cover song, has the theme of "breakup and healing."
"If you ask me why that theme, it is because I am currently heartbroken, but life goes on. So, with this sadness that still remains, I held to the emotion and express it all in my songs. God willing, more people will be able to feel that," he said.
Naim said that the songs were his way of moving on from the heartbreak.
"All of the songs are related to one another. If you want to be sad, let's experience it together," he said, lightheartedly.
Nonetheless, the singer said that he is not against opening up to somebody anew despite still on the mend.
"I am currently single, though I am not looking right now because I would like to focus on my music. When it comes to marriage, we don't know when that will happen, but when the time comes, I would be the happiest man, of course," he added.
