K-pop group ARrC restructures as Ziwoo departs

24 Jan - Originally a seven-member group, ARrC is now reorganising into a six-member ensemble following the departure of member Ziwoo.

On 22 January, entertainment company Mystic Story announced through their Weverse channel that Ziwoo has left the team due to personal reasons.

"We apologize for worrying many fans with this sudden news. We ask for your understanding in advance that there may be footage of the relevant member in question due to pre-filming and production for ARRC's next album," they stated.

They continued, "We ask for encouragement for Ziwoo, who will be taking a new path, and we ask for your warm support and love for the ARrC members who will walk towards their dreams with even more growth."

Making their debut in August of last year, ARrC is the first boy group launched by Mystic Story, and was originally comprised of seven multinational members - Hyunmin, Kien, Choi Han, Rioto, Doha, Ziwoo and Jibeen.

The name ARrC is an abbreviation for 'Always Remember the real Connection', and contains the meaning that they will convey a positive influence around the world through music by emphasising 'true connection with each other' as their key value.
