Zhang Yingying accuses Wang Xiaofei of using Barbie Hsu's death to improve his image

5 Feb - Zhang Yingying has recently expressed her annoyance over the coverage about Wang Xiaofei being "a good ex-husband" amid the news of Barbie Hsu's tragic passing.

The actress, who dated the Shanghai entrepreneur for a bit following his divorce from the late Taiwanese actress, took to Weibo on 4 February to share her ire with netizens, listing everything that Barbie had done for Wang throughout their marriage.

This included risking her life to give him a daughter and a son and nearly died doing so, accompanied him to a show before she completed her confinement following a miscarriage, being criticised repeatedly by Wang's mother Zhang Lan, and borrowed money to support his career.

Zhang also reminded people that Barbie kept to herself following their divorce, but was harassed multiple times by Wang and his mother as well as their followers.

Zhang said that all the harm Barbie suffered was caused by Wang, who made her pregnant four times and she subsequently had two miscarriages despite knowing that her health was extremely poor.

"In the end, netizens beautified it by saying that if he was still around, he would definitely be able to save her. But because of whom did her health become so bad?" she asked.

Zhang said that she couldn't help but laugh at seeing the video of Wang walking in the rain when he came to Taiwan following news of Barbie's death.

"Now, a group of people have begun to imagine how much he loves her, a group of people have started to revere him because he changed his profile picture several times, and a group of people feel sorry for this man because he walked in the rain like he was shooting a sad music video. How ridiculous this world is. He used her death to establish his personality. This is love in everyone's eyes. In fact, all the suffering was caused by him. The person who hurt her the most actually gained followers rapidly. None of her family and friends who loved her deeply appeared in public, and he who hurt her the most has performed one sad drama after another."
