Celebrities mourn the loss of Barbie Hsu

4 Feb - News of Barbie Hsu's sudden passing shocked the whole entertainment industry, and the loss was immediately felt by friends of the actress, who took to social media to express their grief over the loss.

Good friend Lin Chi-ling, who released a statement via her agent, said that the news was shocking and regrettable, adding, "May she rest in peace in another world without worries and fears, and may her family be able to be strong and get through this difficult time. We will always remember her beauty, and rest in peace."

Pace Wu, who was part of the "Seven Fairies" friendship group alongside Barbie, Dee Hsu and several others, stated that she never thought that her decision to come to Tokyo to meet up with Barbie became the last time she saw her.

"Here is a person who was really special. Especially kind, beautiful. Sincerely, I have never seen her take advantage of others. I have never even grabbed the bill when I ate with her! She would always say: 'You are so strong' and would always say that she misses you and loves you!" she expressed.

Andy Lau, who worked with Barbie in "Future X-Cops", shared a series of movie stills of them together and wrote, "Remembering Barbie Hsu, a talented actress whose performances touched many hearts. May she rest in peace."

As for Kevin Tsai, who has worked with Barbie Hsu when she substituted for her sister on "Kangxi Lai Le", posted, " "I want to imagine that you are still alive and well. Yes, I want to keep imagining this until I can no longer..."
