Mandy Ma pleads netizens to stop bullying Wang Xiaofei
5 Feb - Wang Xiaofei's wife Mandy Ma recently pleaded to netizens to leave her husband alone as the entrepreneur mourns the death of his ex-wife, Barbie Hsu.
The influencer was in tears in a recent interview, saying that Wang was already in grief and emotionally on the verge of collapse after finding out about Barbie's passing and did not expect that he has to endure online criticisms and backlash from netizens.
"I beg you not to cyberbully anyone. If anything happens today, come to me and scold me, but don't do that to my husband, the two children, and the deceased," she said.
At the same time, Mandy also hopes that everybody will give some space to Wang.
It is noted that Wang has been accused by some netizens of trying to "ride on the tragedy" and pretending to be affectionate, as he travelled to Taiwan from Thailand with Mandy following the tragic news.
His former girlfriend Zhang Yingying was also among those who criticised Wang, claiming that he was being performative with his sadness after causing much harm to Barbie physically and mentally.
