Sabri Yunus laughs off 57-year-old wife's pregnancy rumours
19 Apr - It was both annoying and hilarious to Sabri Yunus, who recently had to deny rumours about wife Angeline Tan's pregnancy.
On 17 April, the actor-director took to social media to address the rumours that had been circulating online, saying, "This is the funniest thing I've heard for the past six months. The funniest viral slander..."
"To those who started the rumour, do you not feel any guilt even if you don't feel that you've committed a sin? And to those who accepted the rumour and further spread it, don't you think you're the same?" he asked.
Sabri said that he had to spend a lot of time explaining to friends who wanted him to confirm the rumour.
"A friend said, 'It's okay. It's a good thing.' I said, slander is never good," he added.
It is noted that Sabri, who tied the knot with his "Pi Mai Pi Mai Tang Tu" co-star in October last year after many years of friendship, is 62, while his wife is 57.
