Nicky Wu breaks Weibo silence amid divorce rumours
9 Jan - Nicky Wu has finally updated his Weibo account amid divorce rumour with Cecilia Liu, after nearly a month of quiet.
However, it is not to address the speculations about his marriage, but to send thoughts and prayers to the victims of the earthquake in Shigatse, Tibet.
On 7 January, the actor took to the social media platform and reposted an article about the 6.8-magnitude earthquake, writing, "Wishing you peace." He also added the hashtag, "We Are With Shigatse Tibet".
This was his first post since 17 December, prior to the divorce rumours.
Meanwhile, Cecilia also posted similarly on Weibo, writing, "Wishing you peace! Thank you for your hard work, rescuers. Please stay safe!"
Divorce rumours between the couple, who dated and subsequently married after working together in "Bu Bu Jing Xin", refuelled recently after it was revealed that Nicky has resigned as the director of the only Chinese company under his name at the beginning of the year while Cecilia had taken off her ring during the launch of her new drama.
