KRU sets May 2025 as date for their comeback concert
17 Dec - As they promised, the trio of brothers, KRU is set to hold a concert in May next year.
Speaking to the media at the press conference of the upcoming concert, called "GENKRU", KRU leader Datuk Norman Abdul Halim stated that they have decided to work with Icon Entertainment's Iman Tang due to the latter's credibility when it comes to holding huge local concerts.
"Of course, we want to protect our name and legacy, so Iman is the best choice to organise our concert," he said.
It is noted that Icon Entertainment has organised concerts for big names like Dato' M. Nasir, Siti Nordiana, Melly Goeslaw and Ungu.
The concert, which will be held on 3 May 2025 at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, will feature KRU's greatest hits as well as their new comeback songs.
Ticket price ranges from RM258 to RM588 and can be purchased via ticket2u.com.my beginning 20 December.
And as Icon Entertainment is known for their "dress code", fans are recommended to attend the concert clad in '90s fashion. This include wearing items of clothing from brands popular at the time, like Alien Workshop, FUBU, United Colors of Benetton, or BUM Equipment.
The trio last performed a big concert in 2018.
