Raymond Lam wins first Best Actor award after 25 years in showbiz

16 Dec - Raymond Lam has recently won a Best Actor award for his performance in the movie, "Twilight of the Warriors: Walled In".

The actor, who won the title at the 5th New Era International Film Festival Golden Flowering Awards Ceremony in Macau for the first time ever after 25 years in showbiz, expressed, "This is my first film award in my career. I am very grateful to my boss Mr. Louis Koo, my manager, and of course our director (Soi Cheang)."

In an interview after the ceremony, Raymond shared that he will have a new movie next year, as well as an upcoming concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum in May.

As for the continuation of the "Walled In" film, Raymond said, "Of course it will take some time. A good script is worth looking forward to, anyway."

Meanwhile, Michelle Wai, who won Best Actress at the 61st Asia-Pacific Film Festival earlier this month for "The Last Dance", was named Best Actress again at the same awards.
