Bonnie Chan expecting first baby after quiet years away from spotlight

16 Dec - It's the season of pregnancy, it seems, as another Hong Kong celebrity is announcing that there is now a bun in her oven.

Bonnie Chan, the second runner-up to Miss Hong Kong 2016, recently posted a photo of her husband Kuok Meng Jun hugging her from behind and making the heart sign on her bulging belly.

"First came love, then came you," she captioned it.

It was back in 2021 that Bonnie announced that she is marrying her DJ boyfriend, who is said to be the grandson of Malaysian billionaire, Robert Kuok.

After marriage, the former beauty queen has been living a quiet life, rarely posting photos of herself on social media let alone photos of her and her husband.

It is noted that Bonnie only worked for TVB for a short time before she departed from the company in 2020 to focus on her own brand and yoga business.

Prior to Bonnie, it was Priscilla Wong who announced that she is pregnant. It was followed by Louisa Mak, Regina Ho, and finally Grace Wong, the latter who is now expecting after eight years of marriage.
