Tarte by Cheryl Koh to open second outlet at Raffles City Singapore
SINGAPORE– Award-winning pastry chef Cheryl Koh, who opened her first retail shop in Shaw Centre in 2015, is branching out to a second outlet at Raffles City Singapore on 16th December.
Situated at the basement level of Raffles City Singapore, Tarte by Cheryl Koh presents a modern, elegant yet inviting space serving intricately crafted pastries. Similar to its flagship store, the outlet will adopt an open style concept with wooden floors and shelvings. The store highlights a marbled vitrine with timber details, adding a sophisticated and timeless touch, while the brass metal lightings give the entire outlook a sleek charm.
While guests are encouraged to order tarts and pastries for takeaway, the outlet also has a small dining area with six seats (with social distancing).
Sticking to its philosophy of using quality, seasonal ingredients, the menu at Raffles City Singapore will feature six to eight items on rotation. Diners can look forward to popular seasonal flavours such as Clementine, Pear Bourdaloue as well as Tasmanian Cherries.
Tarte will be launching an exclusive flavour, Pine Nut Paris Brest (S$11) which will only be available at Raffles City Singapore. Using premium Gapyeong Pine Nuts, the ring-shaped choux pastry will be filled with praline flavoured cream and topped with pieces of pine nuts, adding a touch of crunchiness and salty fragrance to this decadent dessert.
Crowd favourites include Dark Chocolate tart which uses Cacao Barry’s “Mexique” 66% dark chocolate, Strawberry tart and Apple tart – comprises of Canadian Apple compote and slices of Golden Delicious apple – will also be up for grabs. All tarts will be available in both 8cm and 16cm (selected flavours only), retailing between $8 to $13 for 8cm, and $32 to $52 for 16cm.
