Lu Yuxiao to play the lead in "Love in the Clouds"
20 Mar - After three years of playing supporting roles, Lu Yuxiao is ready to become the lead in the new drama, "Love in the Clouds".
As reported on BJ News, the 24-year-old actress will be joined by Neo Hou in the new xianxia series, where she will play a female war goddess.
Adapted from the novel of the same name by Bailu Chengshuang ("Romance of a Twin Flower"), it tells the story of a war goddess who is poisoned and seeks an antidote.
She then devises a trap for the one who is responsible for her poisoning, a man named Ji Bozai (Neo Hou). The two then go on a game of deception against each other.
Prior to the said project, Lu won praises for her performance as Shangguan Qian in "My Journey To You".
