Street style brand New Balance celebrated Grey Day on 12 May. Grey has become synonymous with the brand, which originated in the late 1970s. At that time, many discovered that city running in white shoes was impractical as they were easily sullied. Thus, the brand conceptualised the grey theme as a solution for urban runners. The grey suede not only matched the aesthetics of the asphalt, but it also fits right into consumers' lifestyles.
