Jacky Cheung apologises for vocal problem at concert

23 Jul - Jacky Cheung has recently apologised to fans in China after what he deemed to be not the best vocal performance during his concert in Hangzhou.

As reported on Oriental Daily, the Hong Kong Cantopop King, who returned to his "60+ World Tour" after taking a break due to being infected with RSV (respiratory syncytial virus), found himself having a hard time belting out his songs due to the aftermath of his previous ailment.

Speaking to his fans at the concert on 21 July, he expressed, "I am very happy that I can finally make this far. But today, my voice is a little bad, which affects my concentration. I apologise to everyone."

Jacky said that the issue with his vocals had made it hard for him to concentrate on other things including the dances.

He then bowed to the audiences to express his sorry and thanked everyone for always being there with him.

It is noted that his Taipei stop, which had to be cancelled because of the aforementioned virus earlier, will be postponed to March next year.
