Hwang In-youp lends his star power to Armani Make-up Lab in Singapore
When asked by Denise Keller what he would like to do in Singapore, Hwang replied, "I really would like to eat chilli crab."
A year after his fan meet here in Singapore, True Beauty South Korean actor Hwang In-youp, 32, made his way to our shores again, but this time for the launch of Armani Make-Up Lab at ION Orchard, on 3rd of October. Guests and eager fans gathered to anticipate his arrival, filling the air with glamour and enthusiasm.
The heartthrob began his career in the modelling industry before making his screen debut in Why (2018), followed by the hit drama True Beauty (2020-21). He's also known for his acting skills in the Netflix original series The Sound of Magic (2022) and Why Her (2022).

Hwang In-youp happy to be back in Singapore
With a translator beside him, Hwang had to help calm his screaming fans who were drowning his voice, and once that was over, the Q&A session between him and emcee Denise Keller got started. "Thank you so much for coming down guys! I came to Singapore after almost one year and I'm happy to be here to meet all my Singapore fans." When asked by Keller what he would like to do in Singapore, Hwang replied, "I really would like to eat chilli crab."
After the Q&A, Hwang made his way around the pop-up to explore the essentials of Armani beauty and interacted with fans upon his arrival and departure from the event. His fan-service game was on point as he even took the time to complete hand-hearts with each of his endearing fans.
What to expect at the Armani Make-Up Lab
Decked out in the iconic Armani red, the pop-up spotlights the luxurious soft matte Power Fabric+ Foundation, ultra-light and pigmented Lip Maestro Satin and launching for the first time in Singapore, a fruity-floral fragrance, the new Sì Eau de Parfum. Eye-catching and monogrammed with the Giorgio Armani logo, the pop-up contains a myriad of activities to entertain guests, presenting Armani beauty in a lively yet luxurious light.
Featuring an Experiential Corner vanity area where guests could test and shade-match themselves with the highly blendable and breathable Power Fabric+ Foundation - the comfortable matte finish was a crowd favourite. Another interactive station was the Looks Incubator where the impressive product wall display starred the extensive Lip Maestro Satin shade range. Guests tried on the various shades, elevating their day-to-night looks with the matte yet hydrating and plump formula. Stepping into an olfactory moment of passion, freedom and love, the fragrance wall featuring the new Sì Eau de Parfum Intense launching for the first time in Singapore was also up for guests to try. Several photo opportunities were spotted, one of key ones being the Photo Lab, where guests could take pictures in the photobooth to commemorate the occasion.
