Cheng Xiao and Wu Xuanyi's camp denies diva rumour
14 Jun - Yuehua Entertainment has recently dismissed the notion that one of their two stars Cheng Xiao and Wu Xuanyi might be the person accused of acting like a big shot by netizens recently.
As reported on Seehua, a netizen recently took to social media alleging that a Chinese female star was acting like a diva by asking people inside a lift at an airport to get out so that she can use it.
The netizen stated that she was taking the lift at an airport to the fourth floor, but that when the door was opened on the first floor, she saw many people surrounding a woman with their phones and cameras out to take pictures.
The said female star was also trying to get into the lift, but that her bodyguard asked everybody inside to get out first so that the celebrity can get in.
The netizen said that the people who were already inside the lift were unhappy with this, with some asking who the celebrity is and why is she so important. This has sparked speculations among many people, with some pointing fingers at either WJSN's Cheng Xiao or her group mate, Wu Xuanyi.
In response to the allegations, on 12 June, Yuehua Entertainment released a statement denying the claim, saying, "After multiple confirmations, we have determined that the news was false speculation and the bodyguards were not members of the artistes' team. It was false information and we hope that the outside world would correct it."
