Gin Lee wins big at Top 10 Golden Song Awards
25 Jun – Gin Lee recently emerged as the big winner at the recently held 45th Top Ten Chinese Golden Songs, bagging three accolades overall.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer brought home Best Pop Singer (Female) and Outstanding Pop Singer award at the event, alongside another accolade for her song, "Attention".
Gin also took to social media to express elation over her success, writing, "Thank you RTHK and every DJ friend for your support and affirmation. Thank you to every colleague at EEG. Thank you to everyone who believes in me and supports me."
"I will continue to make progress and bring more positive energy," she added.
It is noted that this year's event has one with the lowest turnout in terms of award-winning singers, with Hins Cheung and Jeffrey Ngai receiving their awards via video message.
Gigi Yim, who was rumoured to be leaving TVB record label, was also absent from the event.
