Benj Manalo, Lovely Abella tied the knot
25 Jan – "Ang Probinsyano" actor Benj Manalo and GMA actress Lovely Abella have recently tied the knot.
The couple shared the good news on social media with photos from their wedding held at the Lemuria Restaurant in Quezon City on 23 January, with Abella captioning it, "Mr and Mrs Manalo", and thanking all the parties involved in their wedding.
In another post, the actress wrote, "Yes, it's MRS. LOVELY!! It's a new phase of my life but as time goes on I get even more excited for all the chapters that will be in our lives..."
According to the couple's wedding designer Ginger Event Styling, the whole event took only ten days to set up.
The couple announced their engagement back in 2019 after five years of dating. Abella was taken by surprise by the wedding proposal as Manalo had pretended to ask her to make a cameo appearance in a music video shoot. But it turned out to be a wedding proposal that he made to her in front of their loved ones.
