Luxury brand Gucci's Cruise 2024 merges traditions and metropolitan dressing against the backdrop of 14th-century Gyeongbokgung Palace, in the heart of Seoul. Gucci’s connection to South Korea began 25 years ago when the maison opened its first flagship store in Seoul. Since then, Gucci has embraced this affinity with South Korea through diverse projects and initiatives dedicated to celebrating the country and its distinctive identity and a shared desire to create lasting social impact in the communities and within the fashion industry.

Besides familiar Asian faces like Thai actor Gulf Kanawut, Singaporean actress Rebecca Lim and first global ambassador of Indian descent, Alia Bhatt, other celebrities in attendance included singer IU, Alice in Borderland actress Ayaka Miyoshi, Kamen Rider Zero-One actor Fumiya Takahashi, Our Blooming Youth actress Jeon So-nee, Yu Yu Hakusho actor Jun Shison, Squid Game actor Lee Jung-jae, The Glory actress Lim Ji-yeon, Our Blues actress Shin Min-a, The King: Eternal Monarch actor Woo Do-hwan and Vietnamese singer Son Tung. Hollywood stars Dakota Johnson and Jodie Turner-Smith also lend their star power to the show.
With a score including pieces by the Seoulite composer Jung Jae-il, models on the runway walked down in silhouettes evocative of Gucci in the late 1990s – expressed in the colour palette of the 2010s.
