Aaron Kwok to stream live concert for free on Yahoo to raise funds for dancers and film crews
Hong Kong superstar Aaron Kwok is set to bring some cheer amid the COVID-19 pandemic with a free live online concert this Saturday (9 May).
Aaron Kwok’s Cheer Up & Dance Online Charity Concert will be live-streamed on multiple channels from 5pm to 6pm on Saturday, including Yahoo Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The concert will be held from the rooftop car park of Harbour City in Hong Kong.
The multi-talented singer-dancer-actor will be performing with close to 100 dancers from the Hong Kong Dance Performing Artistes Association. The concert seeks to raise funds for the dancers’ association and workers from the film industry who have had their livelihoods affected by the pandemic.
Kwok is asking for donations to be made to the Aaron Kwok Love and Concern International Charity Fund.
The Heavenly King said he hopes the concert will bring cheer and positive vibes for people amid the gloom of the global coronavirus pandemic. He wishes for the outbreak to be over soon so that everyone can resume their normal lives happily.
