Barbecue smoked meat joints in Singapore are not a rare sight. But to have one that pays homage to Indian-centric cuisine is what makes Meatsmith a rare gem. In comparison to the original outlet at Telok Ayer, their Campbell Lane outfit features familiar Indian dishes such as Madras Fish Kathi and Bombay Butter and Fresh Herb Naan.
The delivery menu for both outlets feature sharing packs for 2 to 10 people, burgers, starters, and of course, the smoked meats that have propelled them to fame. Firebake
The stalwart of bread in Katong, Firebake, serves up hearty loaves baked fresh daily from 10am to 12pm, and satisfying brunches for the residents in the neighbourhood. With a moniker that lends description to the method of bread making, one comes to Firebake not for the ordinary, but for something honest and made with love. Their sourdough bread is made with organic flours from Australia, Canada, and Europe and baked daily in Firebake’s traditional and hand-built woodfire ovens. The culinary duo behind Tamashii—Chef-owners Patrick Tan and Max See—balances tradition with innovation. The omakase experience here is inspired from old recipes and their frequent travels to Japan. The raison d'être of Tamashii is an intimate counter dining experience based on Kappo cuisine that emphasises the proximity between diners and chefs. Their delivery menu is a collaboration with sister restaurant, Bōruto, and features dishes such as Sukiyaki Buta Don, Japanese Curry Beef or Pork, and Ebi Tempura Don.

The Feather Blade
The Feather Blade is named after the flavourful cut from the shoulder blade of the cattle that needs nothing more than a beautiful char and a sprinkle of salt to coax its beefy flavours to the fore. The restaurant is inspired by Chef-Founder Sheen Jet Leong’s experience working at the London Soho’s Flat Iron steakhouse. Their regular menu features dishes apart from the staple—The Feather Blade Gyūdon, French Foie Gras, and the cheesy Handshake Burger. It’s not much different from their takeaway offerings save for two value-for-money bundles that are good for 4-7 people and come with a choice of mains, sides, and foie gras.
