Meatsmith: Affordable Western Barbecue With a Twist

At Meatsmith, expect high-quality meats cooked simply and authentically. With three outlets across Singapore dishing out delicious high-quality barbecue meats at affordable prices, Meatsmith is certainly a more affordable alternative to Burnt Ends, a one Michelin-Star restaurant.

Meatsmith Telok Ayer

A traditional American smokehouse barbecue with international flavours in a contemporary setting, Meatsmith Telok Ayer is a restaurant where you can enjoy the simplicity of barbecue meat.

We highly recommend the Meatsmith Cheeseburger, a Beef Marmalade Cheeseburger that is a combination of both burgers from Meatsmith and Burnt Ends. The succulent beef simply melts in your mouth, with the sweet and salty flavours from Burnt End’s famous Beef Marmalade and Pickles.

Pair the rich Meatsmith Cheeseburger with their signature Pickleback. Pickle haters should still give this a go as their brine is pretty delicious, good enough to drink on its own for non-alcoholics!

Vanilla Luxury’s Tip: Don’t miss out on their all-day $10 cheeseburgers at Meatsmith Telok Ayer only on Tuesdays!

Meatsmith Little India

Meatsmith: Affordable Western Barbecue With a Twist

The first restaurant in Singapore to combine the taste of India with fixed roots in American barbecue, Meatsmith Little India offers an interesting fusion of barbecue with an accent of Indian flavours.

We dived into the Premium Platter which included Beef Short Rib, Suckling Pig, Lamb Chops, Lamb Meatballs, Bone Marrow, Pork Cheeks, Chicken Wings and Duck Hearts.

Our picks for Meatsmith Little India has to be the Crab Biryani and the Madras Pork Cheek! We’ve eaten mutton, chicken and prawn biryani, but Crab Biryani? The fluffy Briyani rice hides perfectly cooked crab with a secret - fish roe! The fish roe pops beautifully in your mouth which is a contrast to the soft flavourful Biryani and Crabmeat.

Vanilla Luxury’s Tip: Head upstairs to Rogue Trader, a bar that’s great for pre-dinner or post-dinner drinks. Expect bottled craft beers, classic cocktails, spiced cocktail creations and a great selection of whiskies.
