Zhong Lili confirms breakup with Xia Zhiguang
8 Mar - It's been a while since rumours of romance between Zhong Lili and Xia Zhiguang had died down, and now the actress found herself having to clarify that they have indeed broken up.
The whole romance rumour resurfaced after Zhong, who was first linked to the former R1SE member in 2020, liked an old photo of the two of them dining with friends which was taken in 2023.
Fans, who noticed the "like", began speculating whether Zhong and Xia are still very much together despite them not being seen with each other for a long time.
As the rumours began to rise up again, Zhong took to Weibo to clarify the situation.
On 6 March, she posted, "Yesterday was just a slip of the hand. There was no other intention. I would like to say sorry to everyone and the friends who were affected. I am really sorry for causing trouble."
"We have been separated for a long time, and I wish you a bright and great future," she added.
