Yoyo Chen: People misconstrued my social media posts!
12 Jun – TVB actress Yoyo Chen couldn't help but feel amused that people have misconstrued her Instagram posts to the extent that they think she is getting a divorce from her husband, Vincent Wong.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress who sparked divorce rumours after sharing several posts about taking a leap and making important decisions, clarified recently that she was only sharin
g motivational quotes that she used in achieving her goals in life.
"It's unfortunate that it was taken out of context," she said.
When mentioned that she did previously asked Feng Shui Master Li Kui Ming's views on marriage while they were working in Dubai together, Yoyo said that it was a normal thing to ask on a Feng Shui show.
"People usually ask about career, marriage, family, and health. That's basically the questions that every artiste will ask. It's not a big deal," she said.
As to reports that she wanted to meet Li and consulted with him about her marriage again after returning to Hong Kong, Yoyo said that it must have been a misunderstanding.
"When I came back to Hong Kong, I didn't go and see him. We didn't even keep in touch with each other," she added.
