Yao Yao promises to do better after getting "bad neighbour" moniker
6 Jun – Taiwanese actress Kuo Shu-yao (aka Yao Yao) recently made her appearance since apologising for being a "bad neighbour", where she couldn't help but laugh at the notion of being called just that.
As reported on Oriental Daily, Yao Yao, who apologised again while promoting her new drama, stated that it is her duty to take responsibility to improve herself and endure the consequences, which stemmed from her failing to pay nearly NTD 50,000 in maintenance fees.
This was on top of piling up delivery packages at her doorstep and tearing up community notices.
"I don't want to say much. The news was revealed after everything was dealt with," she said. "After all, I am an artiste, and I have to be more cautious than ordinary people. I have changed my ways and will not cause any trouble to others anymore."
Yao Yao also stressed that she has good relationship with her neighbours, and that she has no plan to move to another place anytime soon.
As for defaulting on her fees, the actress jokingly asked for everyone to remind her to pay her bills on time.
"If a lot of people remind me and yet I still forget to do it, I really deserve to be punished," she said.
