Yang Mi to work with Hawick Lau in new drama?
23 Mar – Rumours are rife that Yang Mi will be working alongside husband Hawick Lau in a new drama soon.
As reported on HK01, the actress who played the lead in the 2016 drama "The Interpreter" and its spin-off "The Negotiators" last year, reportedly will be returning for the second spin-off of the franchise, titled "The Prosecutor", and this time her Hong Kong actor husband will be co-starring with her.
Fans of the couple are ecstatic to hear it, especially since it was their chemistry on the set of "Ru Yi" in 2011 that started their high-profile romance and led to their marriage. The couple had since went on to star in other dramas together, with the last one being the 2013 series, "A Clear Midsummer Night".
If the reports are true, it also dismisses previous rumours about a problem in their marriage, which have been repeatedly reported in the media for the past couple of years.
The upcoming drama is set to begin principal photography in April.
