Dee Hsu finding strength in family memories
12 Feb - Makiyo recently shared an update on good friend Dee Hsu, who has not been seen in public since the death of her sister Barbie Hsu.
The TV personality, who was seen visiting Barbie's home in Xinyi District recently, told the media that Dee seemed to look thinner, which distressed her very much.
"She was devastated but she was still strong and stayed with all of us. We ate fruit and drank champagne and talked about Big S. I tried my best to keep Big S's wishes and not let her cry, but the atmosphere was still very sad yesterday, and I also felt that the Hsu family was deeply grieving," she said.
Asked if Dee, known to many as Xiao S, has any plans for the group of friends to do something to fulfil Barbie's last wish, Makiyo responded, "She knows her sister very well, so she will definitely give her the best."
Dee's last post on Instagram was a photo of a pearl hairpin, which many suspected to be Barbie's accessory. However, she did not leave any message with the photo.
The TV host has also taken a six-month break from her show, "Dee's Girls Talk", which will be temporarily hosted by Sandy Wu.
