Yan Xujia addresses rumours of romance and breakup

4 Mar – Singer-songwriter Yan Xujia (aka David Yan) has finally addressed rumours of romance and subsequent breakup with actress Zhang Zifeng (Wendy Zhang).

As reported on Sohu, the rapper, who went on the show "Memories Beyond Horizon" recently, stated that not all of the rumours circulating on the internet are true.

"Some of the rumours are true and some are false. I admit that I have been in love, but some people have spread rumours that I have been in multiple relationships at the same time. I find this unacceptable," he said.

As for what rumours they are, Yan said, "Anything that is a corruption of morality and public order, those are definitely fake."

Back in 2020, Yan was rumoured to have cheated on Zhang while he was still in the group R1SE. While they never said anything about dating, in early 2022, the romance between the two was exposed.

However, in August last year, it was reported that Zhang and Yan have ended their relationship.
