There are more than enough reasons to celebrate with a drink in hand this year, with the world opening up, with our favourite destination reopening, Formula1 races resuming with live audience and performances, and life seemingly taking a step towards pre-pandemic normalcy.

Which, really, is reason enough why we're raising a toast to this particular announcement of the World's Best Bars. This annual list is decided by a voting panel comprising over 650 independent drinks experts. These include renowned bartenders, educators and consultants, to drinks writers and cocktail specialists.

Of the 14 bars from Asia on the list, Singapore leads the 51-100 rank with eight bars. They are as follows:

(ranked accordingly to list)

51: Sago House

55: 28 HongKong Street

57: MO Bar

65: Analogue

67: Atlas

69: No Sleep Club

74: Nutmeg & Clove

90: Republic

Other bars from Asia that made it to the list include Quinary in Hong Kong at No.56, The SG Club in Tokyo at No.63, Vesper and The Bamboo Bar in Bangkok at No 79 and No.95, respectively. Indulge Experimental Bistro in Taipei placed No.82, and Tesouro in Goa at No.99.

The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022, sponsored by Perrier, will be revealed at a live awards ceremony in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on 4th October 2022. This is the first time the prestigious awards will be hosted outside London. The countdown of the list will also be broadcast live to a global audience from 8.20pm local time through The World’s 50 Best Bars Facebook page and 50 Best Bars TV channel on YouTube.
