Wong Jing reveals new projects at HK FILMART
28 Mar – Wong Jing's production company, Mega-Vision Project Workshop is set to release several new titles, including two big projects, as the filmmaker announced at the Hong Kong FILMART.
As reported on Mingpao, the prolific director who appeared alongside Donnie Yen at the event in Wanchai recently, shared that one of the new projects is the action-comedy, "Enter the Fat Dragon", which will star the aforementioned martial arts actor.
The new project is also co-produced by Donnie's Bullet Films.
Directed by action choreographer Kenji Tanigaki, "Enter the Fat Dragon" is about a cop (Donnie) who is tasked to escort a convict to Japan.
Wong's other project is "Master of Ransom", which is the second instalment of Wong's crime trilogy that started with the Andy Lau-Donnie Yen starrer, "Chasing the Dragon".
In addition, Mega-Vision also launched Kam Ka Wai's new project, "Big Brother", and a collaboration with Chinese streaming company i-Qiyi, the three-season sci-fi series, "The Great Adventurer Wesley", starring Shawn Yue and Simon Yam.
