Wong Jing denies accusations made by Candy Yuen

11 Feb – Hong Kong controversial director and producer Wong Jing recently addressed allegations made by "The Gigolo" actress, Candy Yuen against him.

Candy alleged that Wong was more attentive towards the film's lead actor Dominic Ho and was promoting him to be the next generation of leading men, while only using her as an accessory.

The actress also complained that the production added more intense scenes despite their initial agreement of only a couple of scenes of such nature, adding that it has caused her much distress.

However, according to Oriental Daily News, Wong, who attended the premiere of his new movie, "From Vegas to Macau 2" recently, stated that the allegations were baseless.

"All the roles have potential, and no one gets more support than the other. If I was to support a particular individual, I would put up a big poster over the tunnel entrance," he said.

As to rumours that he paid Candy a meagre salary for her work, Wong denied it, saying, "It wasn't little. It was more [than previous reports]."

When asked if he has no qualms working with her again, Wong said, "If it's suitable, I wouldn't even mind working with Chapman To!"

However, the producer stated that he was unable to contact Candy after the whole incident.

"I would not be surprised if she also changed her number," he said.
