A Woman Discovered Her Chic Facebook Marketplace Chairs Were Stolen From A McDonald's

There are a number of things McDonald's is good at: salty fries, the new Grimace Shake, Big Mac sauce, the list goes on. And apparently the fast food chain is now slaying in the home furniture department, too.

This revelation comes after a woman on TikTok discovered that the effortlessly chic chairs she purchased on Facebook Marketplace were likely stolen from a McDonald's.

"Three years ago, I bought these chairs off of Facebook Marketplace. And immediately the guy deleted his Facebook page afterward so that was a red flag," said @martressler in her TikTok. "I thought they were cute. And I've always wondered where they were from. Here's the chair. And this is what I saw last night in this south Georgia McDonald's."

Then the video showed the inside of a McDonald's. In the brief clip from the restaurant, it's clear that the chairs we see are exactly the same as the ones she purchased on Facebook Marketplace. The TikToker did graciously offer an apology to McDonald's for buying the possibly stolen goods.

"It's identical. Those are stolen McDonald's chairs. McDonald's, I will kindly return these stolen artifacts to you. I do apologize. I know you've been spiraling out of control missing these chairs," she went on to explain.

According to the comments, this isn't the only time someone has been bamboozled into purchasing furniture from McDonald's.

"Bought a TV once off FB marketplace.. ended up being McDonalds menu screen," one commenter wrote.

Another person provided an interesting tidbit about the surprisingly sturdy quality of furniture in fast food restaurants.

"Usually the furniture at quick service food places is actually really good quality bc it has to last constant wear and tear over 5-10 years!" they revealed.
