Wil Dasovich wins Shorty Awards' Vlogger of the Year
17 Apr – Vlogger Wil Dasovich has recently been honoured with the Vlogger of the Year accolade at the recently held Shorty Awards.
As reported on Inquirer, the news was revealed by the "Pinoy Big Brother" alumnus' girlfriend and professional cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao, who posted a photo from the event on Instagram.
She wrote, "Congratulations to [Wil Dasovich] for winning Vlogger of the Year at the [Shorty Awards]! So proud of you! Thank you so much to everyone for the support!"
On the other hand, Dasovich revealed that he was happy to be able to meet his vlogging idol Casey Neistat, whom he said inspired him to become a vlogger himself. He also thanked the Philippines and his fan base.
The California-based Dasovich, who has over 1.18 million subscribers on YouTube, recently attracted the public's attention by documenting his journey in battling cancer through his vlog.
