Lie Sang-bong on DJ Koo: He is trying his hardest!

6 Feb - Korean fashion designer Lie Sang-bong recently gave an update on DJ Koo's condition following the death of his wife of more than two years, Barbie Hsu.

Lie, who posted the update on Instagram on 5 February, said that he contacted DJ Koo immediately following news of the passing, which he originally thought was a death hoax, and was told by DJ Koo later that night that he is "trying his hardest".

He also expressed concern over Koo due to his sensitive and delicate personality.

"I don't know how he will bear it. At this moment, I can't even say a decent word of comfort. I can only tell you, 'You must cheer up,'" he added.

In a previous report, singer Kim Song, the wife of Clon member Kang Won-rae, said that DJ Koo asked them to pray for his late wife to rest in peace, and that his last words to her was, "Hee-won (Barbie's Korean name) was Hee-won until the very end."
