Where to stay: Hotel Mono

There's a new and affordable staycation spot in Singapore that's perfect for the design-savvy and fans of black and white.

Opened in November 2016, Hotel Mono is well-known for its monochrome interiors - from furniture to tiled walls.

"We want to provide value-for-money accommodations with a five-star service experience,” said General Manager Glenn Quah in a press release.

Located at 18 Mosque Street and just a stone's throw away from nightlife spot Ann Siang Hill, this homegrown hotel brand is set to become a favourite staycation nest for the chic crowd.

Yahoo Lifestyle Singapore's favourite room is the loft, which has a high ceiling, two storeys and plenty of walking space.

Other rooms available include the single, double, double plus, studio and family rooms.

Hotel Mono houses a total of 46 rooms across six shophouses with prices starting from S$160 nett per night for a Double room.
