Wang Xiaofei says marriage with Barbie Hsu is fine
1 Oct – Almost four months after his marriage with Barbie Hsu was rumoured to be on the rocks, mainland tycoon businessman Wang Xiaofei assured that everything is fine in the Wang-Hsu family.
Wang, who had been in Beijing all throughout the controversy, recently announced via live streaming that he is finally back in his wife's hometown in Taiwan, and that he has been in quarantine in his own hotel.
When someone in the comments asked about his current situation with Barbie, Wang responded, "We are fine. Don't worry. The incident last time was just a misunderstanding."
He also revealed that he was able to go back to see his wife and two children since his new restaurant, which he left Taiwan to manage back in March, is currently in the renovation
process.
On the other hand, Barbie's mother confirmed news of Wang's return, saying that he will complete his quarantine in early October.
Barbie surprised many back in June, when she suddenly announced that she has filed for divorce from her husband of ten years, and decided to unfollow him on social media. The announcement came after Wang criticised Taiwan for its COVID-19 strategy following the increase number of cases earlier this year.
