Vivian Lai hasn't found venue for concert
27 Dec - Hong Kong singer Vivian Lai has yet to decide on the date and the venue of her upcoming concert.
As reported on Mingpao News, the singer, who spoke to the media to promote her new record, "Vfresh Thanksgiving", shared that her record label had previously sent an application to the Hong Kong Coliseum, but was rejected due to a lack of vacancy.
"We are still looking for venues right now," she added.
Although it has been years since she released an album, with the last one released in 2007, Vivian said that she has been paying attention to the new generation of performers.
"Janice Vidal, J. Arie, and Jason Chan are great singers. I really would like to invite them as guest performers," she said.
As to whether her own children are interested in singing, Vivian responded the positive, saying that her youngest likes to sing and dance while the eldest prefers K-pop.
