Virginia Lok addresses rumour of Natalie Tong leaving

5 Sep – TVB Executive Virginia Lok recently released a statement following rumours that Natalie Tong is leaving TVB to pursue a career in theatre.

On 2 September, following news of Natalie's alleged departure plans, she wrote online, "Natalie is a very friendly and strong actor. After completing the promotion of "Big White Duel II", she is taking a holiday to recharge."

"She has a good relationship with everybody in the company. We have worked together happily for many years in front of and behind the scenes. After more than ten years, I support her in changing the way of cooperation, to slow down and have more time for herself," Virginia added.

It is noted that earlier it was reported that the 2017 TV Queen is planning to try her hands on writing a play and starring in it.

Prior to Virginia's post, the media tried to contact the actress, but was told that she is currently on vacation. She also posted an ambiguous post on her social media, saying that slowing down is the best way to decompress.
