Vincent Wong doesn't think he would win TV King this year

10 Jan – Although he is nominated TV King again this year for his performance in "The Man Who Kills Troubles", Vincent Wong doesn't think he has a bigger chance of winning the said title than the other nominees.

As reported on Singtao Daily, the actor, who spoke on the topic of the upcoming TVB Anniversary Awards recently, stated that he believes that his fellow colleagues Kenneth Ma and Benjamin Yuen have a bigger chance of winning due to their great performance last year.

Kenneth, who is a fan favourite, is competing this year for his acting in the medical drama, "Big White Duel", while Benjamin has won praises for his role in the TVB-Tencent series, "The Defected".

"I'm just very happy with the support that the viewers have shown for my series. Winning an award is no longer a goal, rather than improving my performance," he said.

It is noted that Vincent has already won Best Actor back in 2017 for his role in "Legal Mavericks", defeating Kenneth, who received support for his performance in "The Exorcist's Meter".

As for Best Actress, Vincent said that Kara Hui ("The Defected") and Miriam Yeung ("Wonder Women") seemed to have the biggest chance of winning, but that Selena Lee was also great in "Barrack O'Karma".
