Victoria Song slams netizens for attacking her over Sulli's death

23 Oct – Chinese singer and f(x) member Victoria Song recently lashed out at netizens for accusing her of ignoring the news about fellow group member Sulli's death due to her lack of social media post about the tragedy.

As reported on Sina, the singer, who had been keeping mum about the tragedy earlier, took to Weibo to express her anger over the allegations, saying that there is no rule saying that one has to post every single emotions one has on social media.

"[Since when posting becomes] the measure of one's morals, relationships, one's happiness, anger, sorrow, joy? Social media are used to share with everybody. When did it become a place for people to show off?" she wrote.

Victoria said while anybody is free to post whatever they want and to show off, express, and make up rumours, she would rather live life truthfully.

"Don't you think your time used to make up stories would be better used to do something more meaningful? Please don't turn this into your whole world. You won't find existence in this shallow world," she added.

The singer also stated that rather than dictating what people should or should not be doing, people should live their own lives instead.

She also posted an old photo of the group on Instagram, writing, "Sulli, the weather is very nice today. Goodbye, I will never forget you. I love you."
