Vice Ganda bids farewell to "Gandang Gabi Vice"
11 Mar – Vice Ganda has recently said goodbye to his long-running Sunday talk show, "Gandang Gabi Vice", nine years since its first broadcast on ABS-CBN.
As reported on PEP, the comedian whose show aired its last episode on 8 March, delivered a farewell speech at the end of the episode, saying, "We can no longer count how many guests we had on this program - celebrities, non-celebrities, instant celebrities, politicians, artists, showbiz personalities, ordinary people who have gone viral on social media, trending and all. Many, many thanks [to all of them].
"It's been nine years, nine super joyful years, nine very successful years. Thank you very much. This is GGV's last episode and I'm very happy that we saved the best for last, I believe it's Sir Raffy Tulfo. To all of you, thank you very much," he added.
Ganda stated that he never thought that the show would survive more than one season when they started it nine years ago, and couldn't believe that they were able to extend it time and time again.
Nonetheless, the comedian said that the audience will not have to miss him, as he will also be hosting the show's replacement, "Everybody, Sing!"
He also didn't forget to apologise to those who might have been offended by the show one way or another, saying that both he and the show are not perfect.
