Uqasha Senrose excited to play lead in "Ombak Rindu" play

3 Mac – Actress Uqasha Senrose was excited when she was picked to play the character of Izzah in the theatrical play, "Ombak Rindu" that will take place from April 22 at Istana Budaya.
"Kak Roy (Siti Rohayah Attan) offered me the opportunity a few days ago. I was told that I would be playing two characters for this play."
"I was shocked with this chance, as this character is not to be reckoned with lightly. It was played by the talented Maya Karin who performed brilliantly," she tells BH Online.
The "Paku Pontianak" actress added that she had given a lot of thought before accepting the offer.
The theatre adaptation of the blockbuster "Ombak Rindu" directed by Osman Ali will also witness the character of Hariz, played by Aaron Aziz in the film to be portrayed by another talented actor, Keith Foo.
Besides Uqasha and Keith, the theatre produced by CTRA Production will also feature other actors such as Zarina Zainoordin, Zaidi Omar, Izzue Islam, Aris Lufias, Ameer and Karl Shafek.
The 24-year-old actress admits to feeling nervous and is trembling with the responsibility given, but she has given her word to perform her best version of Izzah.
