New in town: Paik’s Noodle — Korean noodle chain by celebrity chef opens 1st outlet in Singapore

The famous Korean noodle chain restaurant, Paik’s Noodle, has arrived in Singapore!

The brand was founded by acclaimed South Korean celebrity chef, Baek Jong-won. You may also be familiar with his previous ventures into the Singapore market, through brands like Paik’s Bibim and Paik’s Coffee.

Paik’s Noodle is located within Suntec City, bringing its well-known dishes to the city. Though this is the first outlet in Singapore, Paik’s Noodle has established itself in multiple other countries, including the USA, Canada, Australia and Japan!

Wondering what’s in store for you at Paik’s Noodle? Of course, noodles are a prominent fixture on the menu, with the Jajang Myeon (S$11) being one of their most well-known dishes. This noodle dish comes topped with Korean black bean sauce, stir-fried pork and vegetables, for a filling and delicious meal. You can even size up the portion for S$3, if you’re feeling extra peckish.

Grab the Jaengban Jajang (S$23) if you wish to share your dish with one other person. This huge plate of seafood black bean sauce noodles is cooked with stir-fried prawns, squid, pork and vegetables.

Other familiar Korean dishes in store for you include Jjamppong (S$14), a spicy seafood noodle soup, Bokkeum Jjamppong (S$17), which are stir-fried noodles in special oyster sauce, and their signature dish, Tang Suyuk (S$21/S$25/S$29), which is deep-fried pork served in a sweet and sour sauce.

If you have a preference for rice, Paik’s Noodle also offers Jajang Bap (S$13), a dish of steamed rice topped with Korean black bean sauce and an omelet.

Looking to challenge your tastebuds? Go for one of Paik’s Noodle’s fiery dishes to light up your tastebuds. Gochu Jajang (S$13) is a spicy black bean sauce noodle dish topped with hot chilli peppers, while Gochu Jjamppong (S$16) is an extra spicy version of jjampong.

Mexico’s ruling Morena party is so afraid of losing the trade deal that President Claudia Sheinbaum said Friday the government has gone on a campaign to get companies to replace Chinese parts with locally made ones. “We have a plan with the aim of substituting these imports that come from China, and producing the majority of them in Mexico, either with Mexican companies or primarily North American companies,” Sheinbaum said.
