New in town: Keef The Beef Bungalow — Steakhouse opens 2nd outlet at Rochester Park with phenomenal steaks & Vietnamese pho
For those who’ve had the chance to dine at Keef The Beef at The Grandstand, you’ll know that their steaks are exceptionally good. The independent steakhouse has just opened its 2nd outlet called Keef The Beef Bungalow on 19 Apr 2023 at Rochester Park.
Housed in a charming black and white colonial bungalow, the spanking new 120-seater restaurant has 3 private rooms for special occasions and intimate affairs.
For those of you who love the ambience at The Grandstand outlet… enjoy it while you can. Due to redevelopment plans to convert the whole area into a residential place, Keef The Beef will be ending their lease there on 31 Dec 2023. How sad!
The restaurant which has a partnership with Dang Hong’s serves Vietnamese pho at The Grandstand for lunch. The same arrangement will also be available at their new Rochester Park place.
Showcasing their quality cuts of beef, you can indulge in their various pho options like USDA Angus (S$21.90) and The Grazing Grass (S$13.90/S$19.90) (which features New Zealand grass-fed ribeye).
Don’t ever leave Keef The Beef without ordering The PL series. The steaks are soaked in a secret butter-based sauce and are inserted into a 1000°F salamander. The resulting Maillard reaction makes the steak sweeter and creates a multi-dimensional taste.
Order the Fiorentina (S$159 for 900g, S$179 for 1.1kg) which is a porterhouse cut that delivers 2 different parts of beef in one. You’ll get the yummy marbled New York strip on one end and the super tender fillet on the other.
There are other phenomenal steak options like the 1.6kg – 2.6kg Tomahawk USDA Prime Grade (S$22 for 100g) and the 1.2kg-1.6kg Wagyu F1 MBS 5-6 OP Rib (S$22 for 100g).
