The latest 'It' bag is now here: the Dior Bobby bag
Luxury brand Dior unveils their latest It-bag, Bobby, for their Fall 2020 collection, which was designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri.
Named ‘Bobby’ as a tribute to the late designer Christian Dior’s dog, the bag is decorated with the initials ‘CD’ and comes with a delicate buckle.
The box bag is made from calfskin and is cut into different pieces which are then assembled by hand to form the half-moon curve shape.
This hobo-style bag is available in three sizes and four colours: black, cream, camel and blue Dior oblique canvas.
“Each collection contained a suit earmarked for success called Bobby,” the founding couturier wrote in his memoirs. This loyal pet also inspired a limited-edition perfume bottle, like a work of art in his image, designed by Fernand Guery-Colas.
Just like Dior’s Oblique Saddle Belt and the Book Tote bag, we think this Bobby bag will be celebrities’ and influencers’ latest arm candy.
