Tod's drops limited-edition 2024 Year of the Dragon Collection
Tod’s presents a limited-edition 2024 Year of the Dragon Collection inspired by the Chinese zodiac of the dragon to celebrate the Chinese New Year 2024 festivities. Iconic leather accessories from the Italian house take on hues of burgundy and feature a special double dragon motif to mark the upcoming new year.
The limited-edition collection includes three Tod’s shoes – the Gommino Bubble, Tod’s sneaker, and Tod’s leather loafer – finished with double dragon motif surrounding the Tod’s logo in its inner soles, and the iconic Tod’s Shopping Bag with double dragon motif on its internal leather pouch. The collection also sees matching leather charms with the dragon’s head and a Tod’s scented candle for the home.

Boss x Feng Tang Chinese New Year range
To celebrate the upcoming Lunar New Year, Boss has collaborated with renowned novelist and calligrapher Feng Tang on a dragon-themed capsule collection that draws inspiration from traditional Chinese calligraphy. Rooted in the symbolic power and wisdom of the dragon, this collection embodies the essence of belief, courage, heralding the new year with anticipation and dreams.
In his collaboration with Boss, Feng Tang takes cues from Chinese characters and traditional patterns, crafting a modern and minimalist calligraphy style that showcases the dragon character as the hero motif of the collection. The fusion of the pattern featuring twin dragons traversing through jade discs and the Boss logo creates a magnificent spectacle, complemented by Feng Tang's handwritten excerpts from the poem "Luoshen Fu (The Ode to the Goddess of the Luo River)" and additional calligraphy pieces.

Moncler steps into the new year with a campaign starring Hou Ming Hao
2024 heralds the Year of the Dragon; a powerful and benevolent figure of mythology and a symbol of strength, divinity and determination in cultures across the world. Moncler has created a capsule collection for men and women that is infused with subtle references to the lore of the mythological creature, focusing on its intrinsic characteristics to create a collection that is both distinctive and celebratory, as well as easy to wear. A campaign by photographer Leslie Zhang and starring Hou Ming Hao draws inspiration from the symbols of the dragon through deep shades of red and circular motifs.
Comprising three full looks for men and women, the collection logo fuses the head of the dragon with Moncler’s logo outline to encapsulate a positive message of power and strength. Boudin quilting is inspired by the shape of dragon scales and patterns of a suit of armour, and is expressed in luminous nylon laqué.
A clean palette of black, white and pink creates ease of wear and multiple options for mix and matching. Ready-to-wear consists of versatile pieces such as padded zipped cardigans, reinforced track pants and sweatshirts, with the dragon logo imprinted throughout. Mother of Dragons would've approved! Casio is low-key dropping a limited edition MTG-B3000CXD Dragon timepiece, specially crafted to celebrate the auspicious Chinese New Year, Year of the Dragon.
