A Tennessee motorcyclist who went missing has been found alive nearly three days later, according to authorities.

Taylor Boyle was last seen around 10 a.m. on Sunday, the Knox County Sheriff's Office said in a release posted to Facebook. After his family reported him missing, he was eventually found in a ditch. "Subject has been Located! Thank you for your assistance," the police confirmed.

Authorities did not mention where Boyle was found or the status of his medical condition, USA Today noted.

According to the police, Boyle was last seen "wearing blue jeans and a black [and] white flannel shirt." The authorities also shared a picture of Boyle and "the motorcycle he was riding" at the time.

PEOPLE reached out to the Knox County Sheriff's Office for comment but did not immediately receive a response back.

Cameron Williams, who helped search for Boyle, told NBC affiliate 10News in Knoxville that "he had left a buddy of ours in the Fountain City area [and] he was headed from Fountain City to Heiskell, which is north of the Powell area." As a result, "we kind of had a good idea of where he came from and where he was going to," he said.

Another friend of Boyle's gave an expanded update on Facebook to their mutual friends:

"If you don’t believe in the power of god then this right here should change your mind," Kody Dugger wrote. "My buddy Taylor went out for a ride to meet up with some of our buddies Sunday morning and never made it to our buddies. By Monday morning everyone in our friend group started looking for him by Tuesday morning half the town was."

"By Tuesday night we all started to expect the worst," the update continued. "We knew that if he was wrecked somewhere stranded that there was no way he’d make it to the morning if even made it at all. We started to think the worst and that he was gone."

"But then we get the best call we had ever got Taylor had been found and was indeed alive! He was sent into the woods down an embankment and laid there for almost 3 days in the cold with no food or water," Dugger shared, adding: "The fact he survived the crash is a miracle in itself! All that matters though is our friend is safe and alive! GOD IS GOOD!"
