Stephanie Ho won't renew contract with Voice Entertainment
4 Dec– Stephanie Ho recently confirmed that she is not renewing her contract with Voice Entertainment after three years under the label's management.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who appeared at the celebratory banquet held for the cast and crew of TVB's "Finding Her Voice", stated that she has just concluded her contract with the company and will be finding a new management soon.
"Voice Entertainment is a big platform and a singer can attract a lot of viewers by recording theme songs. But there are not that many opportunities to develop further. I have only released two songs in the past two years. It was less than I expected," she said.
Asked if Voice focused too much on other singers, Stephanie replied, "I don't know. Maybe."
However, the singer stated that she is not worried that her chance of filming more TVB dramas will be affected if she is signed to a different label, despite knowing that Voice Entertainment is also a subsidiary of TVB.
"It's not something that I can control. But I still have a management contract with TVB, so I hope that I will be able to continue and film more dramas," she said.
