Stefanie Sun gives birth to baby girl
Stefanie Sun has welcomed her second child, a baby girl, last Wednesday (25 July). The Singapore Mandopop singer, who married Dutch-Indonesian brand strategy consultant Nadim van der Ros in 2011, had turned 40 just two days prior.
Sun shared a photo of herself holding her newborn baby, weighing 2.79kg, on Facebook and Instagram, writing, “Nadim and I welcome our newest and youngest female family member (yes, the one whose existence was discovered at our busiest!) on the 25th of July 2018.”

In her social posts, Sun also thanked the doctors, nurses and staff at Thomson Medical Centre for “taking such great care of us”.
She also shared a photo of a drawing of her newly-expanded family in the posts, possibly drawn by her five-year-old son. She has not revealed her daughter’s name yet.
In January this year, Sun announced she was expecting her second child by posting a selfie on Instagram with the caption: “Yes, I am now as fat as two people”.
Indeed, she had a hard time keeping her pregnancy a secret, quipping that she had instructed her son not to ask people to give up their seats on the train for her before she had announced it.
