"Split" sequel confirmed for 2019

James McAvoy is returning for the sequel to "Split".

27 Apr – Earlier this year, director M. Night Shyamalan released his latest film "Split", starring James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb, a man with 23 different and dangerous identities, and Anya Taylor-Jay as Casey Cooke, one of Crumb's captives.

Very recently, Shyamalan revealed on Twitter, that his next film will be a sequel to both "Split" and his 2000 movie "Unbreakable", titled "Glass".

Through a series of multiple Tweets, he reveals that he's finished the script for the sequel.

Seventeen years since the release of "Unbreakable", Shyamalan discloses that: "It was always my dream to have both films collide in this third film."

Those who have watched "Split" – and seen the director's tweet back in February about his next movie – would know why the two worlds will collide.
